About

I’m a natural-history buff lucky enough to share ownership of a quarter-section of relatively undisturbed and biologically rich land in the knob-and-kettle region of central Alberta, Canada.  My spouse and I have the grand and completely unattainable goal of documenting all species that inhabit the 160 acres of sloughs and woods that we call Moose Pasture.  This blog provides an outlet for the taxon lists, photos, and occasional adventures that result from our explorations.
